Charles Patrick Campbell

Charles Patrick Campbell, 78, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on December 30, 2025. Born in Dayton, Ohio, to Webster and Arlene (Kipp) Campbell, Charles lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family.

A proud veteran, Charles served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He built a long and distinguished career as a machinist, retiring from Eagle Tool Company where his skilled hands and unwavering work ethic earned him the respect of all who worked alongside him.

Charles found his greatest joy in his family. He married his beloved Barbara (Toothman) Campbell, and together they created a home filled with warmth and laughter. In quieter moments, Charles could be found with a crochet hook in hand or casting a line at his favorite fishing spot.

He is survived by his daughters, Helen "Buffy" Campbell (Brian McCullough) and Beth Campbell; grandchildren Tyler, Cory, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren Kyndrick, Sylis, Mylo, and Elsie; and a host of family and friends whose lives he enriched.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Arlene Campbell; his cherished wife, Barbara; his son, Robert "Bobby" Campbell; and his sisters, Diana, Cheryl, and Gaye.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him; in the enduring legacy of a life well-lived and deeply loved.
