Remembering Journey Isaiah Lewis

Journey Isaiah was born on January 1, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital to his parents, Tyrone Lewis and Kimberly Fox. Even in his short time with us, Journey was a fun, loving child who brought immense joy to our family and everyone around him.

Journey went to CTA, Struble Elementary, and North College Hill Middle School. He had just started 7th grade. Sadly, Journey passed away on August 18, 2025, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Journey loved doing fun things like skating and playing laser tag. He was super smart about dinosaurs—he could name them and explain all their types! He also liked Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow, and he enjoyed watching Tom and Jerry with his dad. Journey had a big collection of Hot Wheels cars and Pokémon cards, which he loved sharing with his brother Judah.

Journey was known for being funny, clever, and having a loud, joyful laugh that made everyone smile. His laughter will always stay in our hearts.

Journey leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Tyrone and Kim, his 7 brothers—Louis Young Jr., Tahj Lewis, LeJuan Young, Khaleel Young, Earth Lewis, Jahaad Lewis, and Zerubbabel Judah Ben —Israel and his 6 sisters—Markayla Heidelberg, Inaja Lewis, Heaven Lewis, Tamia, Fox, Tamiya Fox, and Aolani Lewis. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Trenna Lewis, and grandfathers, Tyrone Alford, Timothy Maull, and Dwight Campbell. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece, and two nephews will miss him dearly.

Journey was welcomed into Heaven by his grandmother, Emma Maull, and his great-grandfathers, Clemie Lewis, Everlene Leary, and Leola Williams, and great-grandfather, Dannie Leary and Emory Lewis.
