Julie Ann Frenton arrived to this world on September 20th 1959 and went to rest in Peace on September 20th 2026.

Julie's journey began in Turkey; where the Turkish government claimed her as it’s own. Only after her mother tossed her over a fence onto a US Air Force Base did she gain citizenship. Julie wears a moon and star over her heart to represent her birthplace, which would also become her signature. Julie could curl up with a book or do embroidery.

However, she loved the outdoors the most; whether long walks in the woods or near water. This is where she would find a love for all things natural. She nurtured her dream of becoming a Forester at OSU where she studied Botany and Conservation.

Julie was always looking for ways to make the earth a better place not just herself but for fellow humans and animals. She was a true humanitarian and an activist who stood up for things close to her heart. She enjoyed cooking and we enjoyed eating - some of it! She kept her mind sharp with brain games and Spanish lessons.

She also played different musical instruments such as keyboard, steel drum, bongos and the Ocarina. Oh and of course, the rain stick and kazoo! Julies father being a pilot; she found out that she disliked flying so much she learned how to jump out of planes instead!

What Julie loved the most was being a dedicated mother to her son Jason. Jason was her world! A child could not have asked for a better mother than Julie. Family came next and she was full of compassion and knowledge for everyone.

Julie enjoyed all things in moderation; but when she " let her hair down " there was a lot of hair there! To see her private side was a blessing! She was full of laughter and happy to share! A carefree spirit and so friendly and confident; she really would tell you how it was!

Even after a shot of tequila or a toka smoke she would have your back! She had a unique way of seeing the world and she would share it with whoever she met. The world became her canvas and she lives every day in the paintings, drawings and photos that she had created; born from her soul.

The void she leaves is deep and wide; but just as in life, her circle of friends and family will go on supporting each other. She will be forever missed and often remembered. Rest in Peace, Moonstar59.

She is preceeded in death by her father, Gerhard Ralph "Bud" Frenton; her brother Gregory G. Frenton; and her her sister Karen L Frenton.

She is survived by her mother, Frances P Frenton; her brothers Steve A. (& Bobbie) Frenton, Bruce L. Frenton, Douglas W. (& Shelly Jackson) Frenton; her sister C. Tracie (& Timothy) Gasho; her nephews and nieces and their families: Brody and Michelle Frenton, McKenzie Frenton, Chris and Stacy Frenton, Dustin and Bria Frenton, Jordan and Loreto Calhoun Jacob Davidson, Jaren Davidson, Leah Gasho and Anthony Hamilton, Jessica Gasho, Brianna and Tyler Brown and countless other nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles; and many friends past and present that meant a lot to her.
