Richard White, III
August 23, 1967 — August 20, 2025
- On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, our beloved Richard A. White III, devoted husband,
- father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, entered eternal rest at the age of
- 57. He passed peacefully at UC Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, surrounded by the love of
- his family.
- Born on August 23, 1967, in Cumminsville, Ohio, Richard was the first son born to the
- union of late Richard Angris “Dickey” White(PawPaw) and Patricia Ann
- “Pat” White(MawMaw). He attended Western Hills High School and went on to work for
- many years at River Metals Recycling, where he was known for his hard work, reliability,
- and dedication.
- Richard was more than a provider; he was a protector, a listener, a confidant, and an
- amazing friend. His laugh could light up a room, and his wisdom and loyalty made him
- the person so many turned to in times of need. He loved sports. He loved Basketball
- and football, especially cheering on his Green Bay Packers, and enjoyed skating,
- traveling, fishing with his grandfather, girlfriend, and kids at Lake Julie Ann, and
- spending quality time with family and friends. Richard’s passion for music was another
- source of joy, often filling his home and vehicle with rhythm and soul.
- Above all, family was the center of Richard’s life. From his first Union with Cheryl
- Theresa White, loving mother of his oldest children, we extend heartfelt thanks for her
- many years of love and partnership. Together, they raised four children: Richard
- Antonio White IV, Brandon Lamar White, Patrick Abdul White, and Danielle Lashay
- Davis, and adored their Grandchildren Da'Naizya Davis, Brandon White II,
- Madison White, Sayshawn White, La'Bri White, Bree'Nae White, and Noah White.
- We also extend love and gratitude to Evelyn Byndon, Richard’s long-term devoted
- girlfriend and the loving mother of his daughter, Helen Byndon, and son,
- Kendrick White, and Grandchildren My'Shon and My'Aire Rhodes.
- Richard shared a unique and unbreakable bond with his brother, William White, his
- beloved “road dog” and best friend. Their connection was one of loyalty, laughter, and
- lifelong brotherhood.
- Richard also leaves behind his loving siblings: Shelena Harris (Cephas Jr.), Mary Ann
- Williams, Monica Weathington (Orlando), Travis White, Marsenio Davis (Chanelle),
- Torrance Shannon, Terrance Shannon, and Candy Shannon; his beloved Aunt Lou Ann
- Braxton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were like family.
- His legacy of strength, kindness, and perseverance continues to live on in his children,
- grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time on earth
- feels too short, his impact will be felt for generations.
