Steven Danile Raven, age 50, passed away on May 8, 2026, at The Christ Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born on February 15, 1976, in Cincinnati to Rachelle Raven and Bruce Hodge.

He spent his early childhood through adulthood in the communities of Avondale, Millvale, Winton Terrace, and College Hill. He attended Hartwell Elementary School, Merry Junior High School, and later Woodward High School and Withrow High School.

Over the years, he developed a strong work ethic and learned several trades. He worked in stone laying, drove an ice cream truck, and later operated tow trucks and taxis. In his later years, he found his calling on the open road, traveling across the country as a semi-truck driver. He was approaching his 11th year in trucking and held multiple endorsements.

He had a unique and deep love for music, enjoying a wide range of genres including rap, country, R&B, blues, rock and funk. He also had a special bond with his dog and loyal companion, T.J. (Thunder Jack), who was truly his best friend.

He was a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a Cadillac CTS. A devoted fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds, he had a deep love for sports, especially football, basketball, bowling, and golf. He also enjoyed fishing, canoeing, traveling, and video gaming.

He was known for his bold personality, never hesitant to put someone in their place while also being someone others could count on when help was needed. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He seemed to know everyone, and while he may mot have always been present when expected, he was there when it mattered most.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rachel Taylor (William Taylor) and Barbara Hodge (Marvin Hodge); his father, Bruce Steven Hodge; and his son, Keshon Sanders.

He will be dearly missed by his life partner of 25 years, Natalie Williams.

He leaves a legacy carried on by his children: Dominic Raven (Jasmine), Juanita Raven, Jahsemi Raven, Steven Raven Jr. (Sunday), Matthew Dardy, Ciera Williams, and David Shaw.

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Koriee Raven, Koreen Barnett, Makhi Martinear, Domonic Raven, Tommie Raven, Sadiana Raven, Genesis Raven, and Lo'veya Diaz Sanders.

He remains in the hearts of his Mother Rachelle Raven, siblings: Tamika Raven (LeShane), Rodriquez Raven, Mario Raven, Chris Laster, Louis Sherman, Bruce Hodge-Gray, Alicia Gray, Deanna Gray, Alexis Gray, Marvin Evans, Christopher Evans, Jessie Evans, Richard Evans, Vernon Evans, Alexanderia Evans, Sarah Oliver, La'nette Searcy, Jackie and Anthony.
