Tanesha Nicole
Good
September 15, 1977 – March 28, 2026
Tanesha Nicole Good, affectionately known to many as “OOTY-OOT,” passed
away on March 28, 2026, in Springfield, Ohio. Born in Middletown, Ohio, on
September 15, 1977, Tanesha’s life was a testament to loyalty, strong opinions,
and an unwavering commitment to the people she loved.
Tanesha was known for speaking her mind and standing on what she believed
in. She didn’t sugarcoat much, but if she loved you, you knew it. She had a bold
personality, a sharp sense of humor, and a presence that couldn’t be ignored.
Raised surrounded by family who poured into her, she carried that same
energy into her relationships—protective, outspoken, and deeply connected to
her people.
Tanesha was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Corrine
Kindred; her grandfather, L.V. Kindred; and her aunts, Tonya Kindred and
Jacqueline Patterson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Shalance Pruden, and her son,
London Cooks. Her legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Jayce,
Amarion, Marah, Naomi, Zoey, and Lij.
She is also survived by her mother Demeta Good, Uncle; Howard (Gene) Good
and his wife, Pamela Good, Aunts; Trina Hess, Sonya Kindred, Cassaundra
Kindred Fuller, whom Tanesha often referred to as her favorite; and her very
special cousins: Charles Jamil Patterson, Howard Eugene (Pee-Wee) Patterson,
Kenya Robert’s, Tonya Jones, Ravyn Jones, Imani Patterson, Alissa Popp, and
Justin Fuller along with a host of other family and friends.
Throughout her career she connected with people from all walks of life. She
showed up as herself—real, direct, and dependable—and made an impact in her
own way on those she interacted with daily.
The community of Middletown, Ohio, where she was born and spent much of
her life, holds many memories of her presence and personality. It is where her
story began and where her spirit will always be felt.
Though her journey ended too soon, Tanesha leaves behind a lasting
impression—through her voice, her strength, and the way she showed up for
the people she loved. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughs
remembered, and the love that remains.
