Tyler Joseph Vanwey, 24, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away on December 28, 2025. Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Tyler brought light and laughter to everyone who knew him. He was welcomed into heaven by his grandmas Lois and Helen and his grandpa Wayne.

Tyler is survived by his loving wife, Niyah; his precious son, Lucas; his parents, Thomas and Lisa Vanwey; his brothers, Matthew and Joshua; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He especially adored his brother Matthew and brother-in-law Remington, sharing bonds that went beyond words.

A graduate of Springfield High School, Tyler went on to pursue his education at Clark State College. He found his true calling in service to others and was passionately working toward completing his firefighter training—a dream he pursued with dedication and heart.

Tyler had an infectious sense of humor and a spirit that could light up any room. He loved music and dancing, never missing a chance to move to a good beat. His passion for cars, especially Shelby Mustangs, was matched only by his love for his family. Above all, Tyler treasured his role as a father to Lucas, embracing fatherhood with joy and devotion.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Tyler's warmth, laughter, and loving heart will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
