Jennifer Lynn (Worsham) Springer

Jennifer Worsham Springer was born on February 15, 1967 to James Thomas Worsham and Geneva Caldwell in Lincoln Heights or as she affectionately referred to it as, Zone 15 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She attended Lincoln Heights Elementary and Junior High School and graduated from Princeton High School.  She was baptized at an early age and went to Mount Moriah Baptist Church throughout her younger years.

Jennifer joined the US Army in 1990 and served her country in Panama, Saudi Arabia and Korea which was her favorite deployment. In 1992 Jennifer transitioned from active duty to Army Reserve.  In the same year, while at the VA Medical Center she met the love of her life, Cornell Springer.  They were married in 2003 and have gone through life together ever since.

She graduated from Cincinnati State Community College in 2001 and had recently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati to complete her Bachelor’s Degree.  Jennifer cherished her family (especially grandchildren) and friends.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and watching Law and Order.  She was loving, caring, generous, and had a heart of gold.  She will be deeply missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her husband, Cornell; 3 daughters Danielle Worsham of Baltimore, MD, Janelle Springer of Cincinnati, OH, Anna Springer of Lima, OH. 2 sons, David Springer of Chicago, IL and Julius Hicks of Lima, OH.  Grandchildren, Kevin Keys III, Jermiah Springer, Kamryn Arrick, Kassidy Arrick, J-Shaun Hicks, Amarion Hicks and Lola Springer.  She also leaves to cherish her memories, Father-In-Law and Mother-Law, Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Cruell of Lima, OH, 3 brothers-in-law, Michael (Lena) Springer of Lima, OH, LaBarron Springer of Englewood, OH and Damon (LaShonda) Cruell of Lima, a Sister-in-Law, Carla Springer of Lima, OH.  She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of cousins and friends.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her loving mother, Geneva Caldwell, father, James Worsham, brother, Jeffrey Mackey and a host of aunts and uncles.
